Marblehead home prices exploding…..

It is almost three months since I last poked fun at Trulia and I really didn’t intend to do so again but I could not resist posting this after seeing it in my inbox:

Clearly nobody from Trulia reads my blog or they would have checked to find the error in their computer settings which causes them to report this nonsense: “The median sales price for homes in Marblehead MA for Apr 15 to Jul 15 was $1,400,000 based on 1 home sales. Compared to the same period one year ago, the median home sales price increased 357.9%, or $1,094,250, and the number of home sales decreased 93.8%.”

For the record there were actually 74 sales in the April-July time frame with a median price of $633,000. In 2014 the numbers were 79 sales with a median price of $590,000.
