Winterize your garage to gain more space
“In New England people don’t use their garages for cars but for storage.” This was said recently by the selling agent when I was showing the house to a buyer.
How true!
But you don’t have to limit your garage to storage.
As this Winterize your garage to make the most of your space article in Realty Times points out a garage can be a kids playroom, party space or even sports cave, while many attached garages have been converted into living space.
As always in real estate, the only limitation on what can be done is the size of your imagination – and budget!

Great piece! For more tips on winterizing the garage, view this article: https://www.monkeybarstorage.com/blog/5-tips-winterizing-your-garage
Great idea Andrew, however I would caution your readers that a building permit and inspections may be needed for work that involved electrical ,plumbing, insulation or other construction related work. It may be as simple as calling the Marblehead Building Department at 781-631-2220 and asking an inspector. Better safe than sorry.
