Bruce Willis’s $8 million price cut – and no Demi Moore
As we head into July 4th, the date which traditionally sees a slow down in sales and some price cuts to try to sell houses that have been on the market for a while, Bruce Willis’s Idaho ski resort has a slightly larger than normal cut: from an original $15 million to a bargain at only $7.05 million.
The 8,403-square-foot gated home in Idaho sits on 20 heavily wooded acres on private Flying Heart Lake with multiple ponds and streams, according to the website TopTenRealEstateDeals.com. The six-bedroom, seven-bath house has heated terraces, balconies and driveway with vaulted ceilings, mountain and lake views, three fireplaces, and a large gourmet kitchen.
One attraction that will apparently not be available with the property is Demi Moore
“When married to the actress Demi Moore, the Willises were particularly active in Sun Valley, in the town of Hailey, where they bought a home and extra acreage and spent big bucks on renovations and landscaping to enhance their view of Flying Heart Lake. They also restored the town’s movie theater and bought a bar and restaurant that they also refurbished, bringing new tourist trade to the town. Their love of skiing was underlined when they also bought the Soldier Mountain ski area, which Willis donated to a nonprofit group in 2012.”
Since I love spreadsheets, maybe I could start a service for the rich and famous showing which of their properties they lived in with which of their wives. That might save some confusion and awkward moments.
