So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, goodbye to 2020

As we mourn the 338,656 Americans and 1,792,581 people worldwide who have died so far, we also look forward to 2021 with hope as people start to receive a vaccine.

And as we turn the calendar on 2020, let us give thanks to those who kept the real estate industry working. Quite quickly, buyers and sellers adjusted to the new way of doing business. Professional photography and videography have facilitated transactions sight unseen – physicilly, that is.

But there have been many professionals who have worked to develop new protocols. This list will inevitably be unintentionally incomplete, but gratitude is expressed to everybody who has been involved.

So here is a list of at least some of those who have made 2020 a record year for the industry in many places:
– Office brokers who worked together to develop new protocols
– Agents who handled the new ways of holding Open Houses
– Appraisers
– Home Inspectors
– Mortgage Lenders
– Attorneys
– Moving Companies
– Electricians and Plumbers
– Contractors and Handymen
– Painted and Decorators
– Photographers and Videographers
– Online documents signing companies

And, of course, buyers and sellers.

To all of you – thank you.

So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, goodbye to 2020. Roll on 2021!!!
