$30 million to repair potholes
Both my Republican and Democrat friends think Charlie Baker is off to a good start as Governor. And it’s not just because there are no stories about the money spent on new curtains for his office.
Today the Baker Administration announced a $30 million WRAP (Winter Recovery Assistance Program) to patch up potholes and other repairs.
There is, of course, a formula, to decide how much each city or town received. The formula is based upon “a weighted average of a city or town’s population, employment, and total mileage of roads.”
Here are the recipients of the largest amount of aid, together with the amounts for nearby towns.
And here is the full WRAP distribution.
