Trulia vs MLS statistics on Marblehead
I have reported before on my puzzlement as to where Trulia gets its statistics on Marblehead. This is what I received by email today:
I decided to compare relevant statistics ( the average listing price in one week may be interesting but has no significance) between the Trulia report and MLS:
It seems from this that Trulia is fairly accurate on listings (it includes a few potential foreclosures) and very accurate on Open Houses. What puzzles me is, if it has this information accurately, why does it not have sales information? Can anybody answer that question?
Meanwhile, you know where to go to get accurate, current information on ALL aspects of the real estate market in Marblehead and throughout Essex County and Massachusetts!
If you – or somebody you know – are considering buying or selling a home and have questions about the market and/or current home prices, feel free to contact me on 617.834.8205 or [email protected].
