Marblehead’s Rapid Recovery Plan
Over the last several months, the Town of Marblehead has participated in the Massachusetts Local Rapid Recovery Plan (LRRP) Program to help support business owners and community members by developing recovery plans for local business districts. In Marblehead, Downtown Marblehead and the B1 District (Atlantic & Pleasant St) have been the focus of our work. This recovery plan has been developed in coordination with the local government, and informed through stakeholder interviews, a public forum, and surveys, and is customized to the individual economic challenges and COVID-19 related impacts in Marblehead. It includes a data analysis as well as an exploration of challenges, barriers, strategies, and actions.
The Town has scheduled a public forum to review the LRRP Final Report and its recommendations on Monday, October 25 at 11am. We hope you’ll join us to view the recommendations of the final report and ask questions or offer comments on the report.
You can view the LRRP report in advance of the forum here (more…)

Marblehead Town Elections TODAY
The youth and exuberance of Marblehead can be seen in two way:
– the number of young people out and about with strollers (and, of course, dogs)
– the large number of candidates in the town elections this coming Tuesday
The most contested positions are Selectmen (15 candidates for 5 members), Light Commissioner, School, and Recreation and Park.

It is an honor to be ranked alongside the top real estate professionals in the nation. We are grateful to our colleagues and clients who made this possible. It is our privilege to assist you in selling, buying or investing in real estate.
While this accolade is truly humbling, having repeat clients and our team recommended time and time again means more to us than anything. When looking back at our business over the past year, it was primarily driven by referrals. It is our privilege to assist you in selling, buying or investing in real estate.
Fort Sewall now open to the public

Marblehead Housing Market Q1 2021 Review
The median price of Single Family Homes (SFH) sold in Q1 2021 increased 10.5% to $765,000, well below the $839,900 in the second half of 2020. But Q1 can often be an anomaly because of the small number of sales.
SFH sales were 32 compared with 31 in 2020.
There were just 10 Condo sales in Q1 2021, compared with 9 in Q1 2020. Condo sales occurred between $260,000 and $599,000. 6 of the 2021 sales occurred below list price, 2 at list and 2 above list price.
